Panasonic presenta la nuova compatta DMC-LX7 con un originale zoom 24-90 equivalente ed una apertura di diaframma da f/1.4 a f/2.3. Davvero una luminosità record per un prodotto di questo tipo.
Il sensore MOS che equipaggia questa compatta è una unità da 10.1 megapixel di dimensioni 1/1.7 che è affiancato dal prestazionale processore d'immagine Venus Engine VII di Panasonic e che permette alla LX7 d lavorare a sensibilità ISO da 80 a 12.800.
Unitamente all'ampia apertura massima di diaframma, l'ottica LEICA DC Vario-Summilux che equipaggia questa compatta ha lenti con trattamento Nano Surface Coating ed una distorsione contenuta, a detta del produttore.
Altra caratteristica distintiva di LX7 è la possibilità di gestire il diaframma direttamente da una ghiera posta sul barilotto dell'obiettivo per una gestione dei parametri di scatto "come una volta".
Il filtro neutral density integrato nella lente permette di utilizzare tempi di scatto lenti in combinazione con ampie aperture di diaframma. Un utile stratagemma per permettere di utilizzare spesso la caratteristica distintiva di questo apparecchio.
Oltre a fotografie a 10 megapixel di risoluzione, la DMC-LX7 permette l'acquisizione video a risoluzione Full HD 1920x1080 50p in formato AVCHD o MP4.
La disponibilità sul mercato dovrebbe essere da settembre.
